Inspired by Istanbul-born Armenian intellectual Eremya Celebi Komurciyan's travel diaries from the 17th century, Invisible to the Eye traces this particular itinerary in today’s Istanbul. As a cinematic travelogue in a contemporary Istanbul, the film explores Komurciyan’s farsighted relationship with the concepts of looking, seeing, and viewing. In his book titled History of Is...。作为演员，梁静（伊能静）更喜欢戏里的世界。戏里，她扮演蒋碧玉，那是一个见证创造了历史的，从娇生惯养的千金小姐一步步变成坚强的革命义士的，和钟浩东（林强）谈过轰轰烈烈恋爱的，天塌下来，也可以用柔弱肩膀顶回去的女人。一旦做回自己，她便成为一具沉浸在对死去的阿飞男友阿威（高捷）的回忆里不能自拔的，过去日记被人偷去又被不定期传真回来的，时常接到不发声骚扰电话的，抢了姐姐男人的，做演员之前是个舞小姐的，孤独、压抑、拼命想回到从前的干尸。 历史并不能真正走进去，梁静当然明白。戏结束了，痛快地哭一场之后，仍要回到现实中来，继续过麻木的日子。。
