86岁的李安格是中国女排“五连冠”时期的技术顾问，后来曾受命组建中国少年女排希望队，寄望通过培养新生力量有一天把冠军再夺回来。壮志未酬人已老，退休后的李安格听到张雨生的歌《我的未来不是梦》，有感而发，改变了歌词，写出了《我的希望不是梦》，没有受过任何音乐专业训练的他自此迷上写歌，并组建了“金色时光”老年合唱团。85岁那年，他决定要在自己86岁生日的时候搞一场个人作品合唱音乐会。 电影《金色时光》以真实纪录的方式跟踪拍摄了李安格和他的平均年龄超过75岁的老伙伴们克服各种困难实现了这个音乐会梦想的追梦之旅。片中也贯穿着他跟80岁还在坚持每天打网球的老伴以及天生智障的46岁女儿之间的亲情故事。。A tropical paradise in an attempt to find love.
