He was chosen to be destined f...。陆军学校学生胡伦廷与白乐德有莫逆之交，共怀报国之志。毕业后，伦廷任广东督办署卫队长。乐德留沪，与伦廷妹珠丽相恋订婚。数月后，乐德也赴广东任督办署要职。施督办系乐德之舅，其女洛华有男士风，与伦廷互相爱幕，两人曾在花园中联句填《一剪梅》词寄意。督办署军 警督察处处长刁利敖系某权势集团代表，垂涎洛华美色，久欲娶之。施督办权衡得失，亦有此意 ，但遭洛华反对。乐德抵粤后居于督署，竟也见异思迁，钟情洛华。伦廷、洛华以为乐德已与珠丽订婚，不疑有他，乃将施督办逼婚事托其转圈。乐德佯作应允，实则向施督办进谗，谎称伦廷 怂恿洛华私奔。伦廷被逐，流为盗首，以梅花作徽志，组织盗军，劫富济贫，自号一剪梅。珠丽 在沪得知兄长被逐，恐乐德受累，只身赴粤。时洛华已暂署卫队长职，命珠丽乔装男子充其副官。一日，洛华故约乐德出游，假以辞色，诱使其供出计陷伦廷隐秘。洛华斥乐德为卖友小人，乐 德恼羞成怒，欲施强暴，刁利放敖突飞骑至，斗败乐德，复追洛华，被一飞镖射杀坠马。洛华见 镖上有梅花标志，知是伦廷所为。一年以后，伦廷约洛华于梅花坞营寨相晤，洛华偕珠丽同往。 乐德率军前来缉捕，见珠丽、伦廷，终于天良复现，追悔不已。时施督办亦率军至，获知实情，收抚部众，恢复伦廷职务，并以洛华嫁之，复又促成乐德、珠丽结婚。。
