大宋镇国之宝———太阿古剑被盗。据传此剑丢失，必将引起战乱纷争。柳三变的父亲柳宜率南唐旧部密谋造反，众人推举三变为后主遗孤。文采武功超群的三变由此被推到权力与阴谋的浪尖。途中，三变救下江湖侠女虫虫，虫虫发誓要嫁给三变。后来三变又于钱塘偶遇花魁楚楚，两人一见钟情，岂料宋太子亦对楚楚垂青。在江山和美人间，三变与宋太子不断交锋。最终楚楚献出生命，方才化解了两朝纷争。。清末明初，故事发生在中国西部大戈壁黄沙镇。剧情以除暴安民为线索，主人公王笑天、花儿红与恶霸、官府间展开了一场殊死的博斗，描述了主人公悲欢离合，生死离别的坎坷命运。。Five young people wake up dead.
