Comedy about the proverbial genie who comes out of a bottle (a table lamp in this instance) to serve his new master. The only problem is that instead of helping his master, the genie (Burl Ives) tends to get his master (Tony Randall) into more predicaments than he gets him out of.。座頭市はある宿場町で、医者の順庵と娘お志津を助けて悪玉ヤクザ・松五郎と対決する。市は深手を負いながらも松五郎一家と用心棒・弦八郎を倒すが、弦八郎は順庵の息子だった……。野川由美子がイキのいい姐御ぶりをみせる。。
