Joel, a caustic 1980s film critic for a national horror magazine, finds himself unwittingly trapped in a self-help group for serial killers. With no other choice, Joel attempts to blend in or risk becoming the next victim.。In the aftermath of a fatal accident in a snowy village at the Eastern tip of Quebec, a screwed-up ex-pro snowboarder decides to pack up her cabin and leave town for good, but someone, or something - seems intent on stopping her.。孙子威（周润发 饰）与梁宝儿（缪骞人 饰）结婚八年，并育有一子，眼下他们的婚姻因孙子威的出轨而处于崩溃的边缘。梁决意离婚，加入了五个同性好友的“单身女性俱乐部”，然而在这些女人表面的恣意之下，却深深潜藏着孤独的痛苦。另一方面，孙子威与情人沙妞（钟楚红 饰）正式同居，二人的关系看似热烈，但孙子威仍然对梁宝儿念念不忘。终于到了协议离婚的时刻，孙子威醒悟自己对前妻难以割舍，遂终止了同沙妞的关系，回到梁宝儿身边，可再次走到一起的两人，并没有理顺生活的所有矛盾…… 本片为香港导演关锦鹏处女作，获当年香港金像奖与金马奖多项提名。。
