廣東十虎之首鐵橋三(狄龍飾)，乃民團總教練，時煙禁已開，鴉片公賣，官紳販卒均以吸食鴉片為尚，而鐵亦隨俗吸食，功力漸受毒害不自知。煙館主人榮峰(陳觀泰飾)乘鐵無復當年勇時，公然挑戰；鐵勉力應戰，險象環生，幸得徒弟盧瓜四(麥德羅 飾)捨身相救，才不致喪命……。An anthology series in which each episode is a self-contained story set in a different world, with all stories linked together by an asteroid called the Metal Hurlant, which is passing close to the planet that is the focus of the current episode.。
